IntroductionModule 1 of 6
What a business really does
At its core, a business solves a problem for customers and gets paid for it. A bakery solves "I want fresh bread." A plumber solves "my sink is leaking." A budgeting app solves "I can't keep track of my spending."
Every business, large or small, has to do four things well:
- Create value by offering something people want or need.
- Deliver it to customers reliably.
- Get paid a price customers will accept.
- Manage money so more comes in than goes out.
This course gives you the language and tools to understand how any business works, whether you plan to start one or want to understand the one you work for.
